Testnet notice

Effective date: October 25, 2026
Version: 2.0

Tudys runs only on Sepolia (chain ID 11155111), a public Ethereum test network. This notice explains what that means and how to keep your wallet safe. It is part of our Terms.

1. Test tokens have no value

  • Sepolia test tokens, such as Sepolia test ETH and the Sepolia test USDC used by the old staked leagues, are not the real ETH or USDC they are named after. They have no market price and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Tudys never sells, buys or redeems test tokens, points or anything else on the Platform. Anyone who offers to do so is not acting for Tudys.
  • Points and table positions are scores in a free game. They are not tokens and have no value.
  • Sepolia is run by others. It can be reset, paused, changed or shut down, and anything on it, including the old league vaults, can disappear. Faucets that hand out test tokens can run dry.

2. You don't need test tokens to play

Joining a league, picking and running a league happen off-chain: they send no transaction and cost no gas. You only need Sepolia test ETH for gas if you were a member of a settled staked league and claim your test tokens from its vault yourself (see Legacy vault leagues).

3. Never send real assets

Tudys will never ask you for real assets. If you send real crypto (on Ethereum mainnet or any network other than Sepolia) to a Tudys address or contract, it can't be recovered. The Tudys app never asks your wallet to send a transaction. If you claim from an old vault yourself, check that your wallet shows Sepolia before you approve it.

We recommend a separate wallet for Tudys and other test networks, holding no real assets.

4. Signatures

Tudys asks you to sign only sign-in messages (Sign-In with Ethereum). These are free and send nothing. Each one names the action it is for, our website (check the domain), Sepolia as the chain and a one-time code, and expires after 5 minutes. The session message starts a 24-hour wallet session. Tudys never asks you to sign a transaction.

Tudys will never ask you to:

  • type or paste your recovery phrase or private key anywhere;
  • sign a message that names a website other than the one you are on;
  • approve spending your tokens, or sign a "permit", to join or play in a league; or
  • install software or a browser extension.

We never prompt you to sign automatically: a signature request only appears after you press a button that says what it is for.

5. Phishing

  • Only use Tudys at its official address, and check the address bar before you connect your wallet.
  • Fake sites, messages and direct messages may copy Tudys to trick you into signing. If a message or a league note asks you to "verify", "claim a reward" or "sync your wallet", it is a scam: Tudys has no rewards.
  • League names, descriptions, notes and nicknames are written by players, not by Tudys. Treat links in them with care.
  • If you think you signed something harmful, move any real assets out of that wallet to a new one at once, and revoke token approvals you don't recognise.

6. Smart-contract wallets

You can use a smart-contract wallet (for example a Safe or a smart account) as well as an ordinary wallet. We check its sign-in signatures through the wallet contract itself. A wallet that needs several signers must collect them before the sign-in message expires (5 minutes), and a wallet with several owners counts as one player.

7. Legacy vaults

The old staked leagues kept members' test tokens in on-chain vault contracts. We no longer create vaults, no one can join a staked league, and their league pages are archived. Vaults that were never settled will be refunded by the Tudys Core Safe straight to the wallet that joined, with nothing for members to do; members of a settled vault who haven't claimed can call the vault's claim() function themselves on a block explorer. The contracts are experimental and could contain bugs, and blockchain transactions can't be reversed. See Legacy vault leagues.

8. Report a problem

If you find a security issue, or a site or message pretending to be Tudys, tell us at [SUPPORT EMAIL TO BE ADDED]. Please don't exploit a bug or share it publicly before we have fixed it.
